China Airlines posts double-digit increase in passenger numbers and revenue for March

Taiwan-headquartered China Airlines (CAL) transported 1.1 million passengers in March, up 14.6% from the 964,614 million passengers it flew in the same month a year earlier. Read More » Passenger load factor rose 11.5 percentage points to 89.6% as demand, measured by revenue passenger kilometres, climbed 16.9% and capacity expanded 1.9%. The SkyTeam alliance member booked passenger revenue of T$10.5 billion (US$331 million) for the 31 days, up 26.5% from T$8.3 billion in March 2025. Cargo revenue rose 7.2% to T$6.3 billion, CAL said in its monthly financial and operational report.
