CFM International and International Airlines Group have signed an agreement to designate Iberia’s maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility near Madrid-Barajas Airport as a LEAP Premier MRO workshop. The first LEAP engines, which power the A320neo family and 737 MAX family aircraft, were expected to be inducted in the first quarter of next year.
Japan Airlines has selected Recaro’s economy class R2 seat for its 737 MAX 8 fleet.
