ANA reports double-digit improvement in full year net profit

ANA HOLDINGS INC., the parent of All Nippon Airways and LCCs AirJapan and Peach, said net profit for the 12 months to March 31 2026 rose 10.5% to 169 billion yen (US$1.1 billion), from net profit of 153 billion yen in the prior year. The company said the achieved profit growth was driven by sustained inbound travel demand and the integration of Nippon Cargo Airlines Co (NCA). "Delivering record results this year demonstrates the strength of our core airline business and our ability to execute through changing market conditions," ANA HOLDINGS group chief financial officer, Kimihiro Nakahori, said. "While we anticipate near-term challenges from rising fuel costs, our flexible operational strategy and the consolidation of NCA position us to maintain profitability, support our annual dividend increase, and deliver long-term value to our shareholders." The company has guided the market to expect net profit of 150 billion yen and operating revenue of 2.8 trillion yen for the current fiscal year, "supported by flexible operations to mitigate rising fuel costs linked to the situation in the Middle East".
