American Airlines’ AAdvantage, the frequent flyer program of Fiji Airways, has lowered the amount of miles required to redeem a one-way economy class nonstop flight between North America and Fiji to 28,000 miles, from 40,000 miles previously. There is no change to business class redemptions, which remain at 80,000 miles one-way. The redemptions are for flights operated by Fiji Airways.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has selected the Starlink low earth orbit satellite network to provide internet connectivity via wifi on board its A350-900 long haul and ultra long haul variants, and A380 fleet. The rollout of the service was expected to commence at the start of 2027 and be completed by the end of 2029. "Singapore Airlines already offers the world’s most comprehensive complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi across our entire fleet," SIA senior vice president for customer experience, Yeoh Phee Teik, said. "Starlink will take this to the next level by delivering next-generation high-speed connectivity, enabling customers to stay entertained, connected, and productive throughout their journey, with a smoother and seamless experience from take-off to landing." Currently, SIA uses the Panasonic Ku-band for internet connectivity on its A350-900 long haul and ultra long haul widebodies, and SITAOnAir on the A380s.

The U.A.E. General Civil Aviation Authority said in a social media post it has officially lifted all temporary precautionary measures on flight operations in its airspace. "We are pleased to announce the full resumption of normal air navigation operations across UAE airspace," it said. "This decision was reached in close coordination with all relevant authorities."

Solomon Airlines has selected Guangzhou-based TK Aviation Service to be its passenger sales agent in Mainland China.
