KLIA operations disrupted on Saturday due to tyre burst incident

One of Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s (KLIA) three runways was temporarily closed for a short while on Saturday evening due to what Malaysia Airports described as an aircraft tyre burst incident. Read More » While flight operations at KLIA’s two other runways continued to operate as normal during the disruption, some passengers may have experienced a delay during what was the peak evening period, Malaysia Airports said. The affected runway was reopened at 1930 local time on Saturday, following final safety clearance from the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia.
