Riyadh Air selects Malaysia as first Asia-Pacific destination

Riyadh Air, which is owned by the Saudi Arabia government’s Public Investment Fund, currently has three 787-9 aircraft in service configured in a four-class configuration with four first, 24 business, 39 premium economy and 223 economy seats. The airline currently flies to Cairo, Dubai, Jeddah and London Heathrow from its Riyadh hub, with Madrid, Málaga and Manchester to be added in July alongside the new Kuala Lumpur service, followed by Dhaka in August. "Our map is growing, connecting more of the world to Riyadh," Riyadh Air said in a post on social media. "We are thrilled to welcome Kuala Lumpur and Malaga to our expanding network, opening the door to even more journeys across Asia and Europe." There are currently no airlines flying nonstop between Riyadh and Kuala Lumpur.
