Philippine Airlines (PAL) has added more flights to Canada and the U.S. ahead of the busy end-of-year travel period. Read More » From November 17, PAL’s schedule to Vancouver from its Manila hub increases to 10 flights a week, up from seven now. The following month, PAL’s Manila-New York JFK and Manila-Toronto services will rise from three to four flights a week from December 2 and December 5, respectively. PAL is adding a fifth weekly Manila-JFK rotation during the December-to-January period. The schedule increases are alongside PAL’s previously announced new three times weekly Manila-Chicago O’Hare flights starting in November. "North America continues to be one of Philippine Airlines’ most important markets," PAL president, Richard Nuttall, said. "As travel demand grows, these additional flights strengthen our position as the preferred nonstop carrier between the Philippines and North America while providing our customers with greater choice, improved connectivity and more opportunities to travel, do business and reconnect with family and loved ones." PAL is the only airline flying nonstop from Manila to New York JFK and Toronto. Air Canada is alongside PAL on the Manila-Vancouver route.
