AirBorneo confirms Kuala Lumpur launch, starts ticket sales

Read More » The route will be served with two-class 737-800 aircraft offering 12 business and 150 economy seats. Ticket sales for the airline’s first route to Peninsular Malaysia opened yesterday. AirBorneo, based in the Malaysian state of Sarawak, has scheduled two return flights a day on the route. "The opening of ticket sales for our Kuala Lumpur route marks an important milestone in AirBorneo’s growth journey as we continue strengthening Sarawak’s connectivity with the rest of Malaysia and beyond," AirBorneo CEO, Megat Ardian Aminuddin, said. "As Sarawak’s airline, we are committed to connecting people, businesses and opportunities through safe, reliable and affordable air travel." AirBorneo, formerly known as MASWings, will be the fourth airline on the Kuala Lumpur-Kuching route alongside existing service from AirAsia Malaysia, Batik Air Malaysia and Malaysia Airlines.
