Air China posts 8.5% lift in passengers during July

Air China flew 15.7 million passengers in July, more than 1 million more than the 14.5 million travellers the airline carried in the same month in 2025. Read More » During the reported 31 days, Air China grew domestic passengers 8.9% to 13.5 million, while its international network experienced 10.2% passenger growth to 1.8 million. By contrast, Air China’s regional network flyers fell 8.1% to 404,800. On a more positive note, the Star Alliance member grew capacity 4.8% year-on-year in July, while demand, or revenue passenger kilometres, was 11.2% higher. Passenger load factor climbed 4.9 percentage points to 85%. Air China’s fleet stood at 973 aircraft on July 31, an increase of one from the end of June.
