Airports of Thailand (AOT) has reported net profit of 4.4 billion baht (US$134 million) for the three months to June 30 2026, 14.9% from 3.9 billion baht in the same three months in 2025. Revenue fell 2.8% to 14.9 billion baht, AOT said in a regulatory filing. "In the first nine months of FY 2026, the overall air traffic volume of AOT still showed a gradual expansion trend, encompassing the number of passengers and flights, as well as the volume of cargo and mail," AOT said in a regulatory filing. "However, AOT still faces significant challenges for the remainder of FY 2026. The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has significantly impacted airlines’ fuel costs and led to higher ticket prices."

Kuala Lumpur Subang Airport closed its runway temporarily on Saturday (August 15) after a helicopter exploded during an engine test, which led to eight arriving flights being diverted to nearby airports and three scheduled departures being delayed. The helicopter was owned by a Ukraine-registered company, local media reported

Hong Kong-headquartered Plaza Premium Group has added flight information to its Smart Traveller app.
