Philippine Airlines upgrades Melbourne route with added frequencies, optimized flight schedule

Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced that starting November 19, 2026, it will expand Melbourne service from the current five weekly flights to daily operations. Read More » The change is planned in time for the busy year-end holiday season. Alongside the additional flights, PAL will introduce an optimized flight schedule. “Travelers from the Philippines and across PAL’s international network will enjoy easier access to Melbourne, while Australian travelers can connect seamlessly via Manila to destinations throughout the Philippines, Asia, North America, and the Middle East,” the airline said. “The introduction of daily Melbourne flights also comes during a milestone year for PAL in Australia. On September 10, 2026, the Philippine flag carrier marks 55 years of service to Melbourne, one of its longest-serving international destinations,” it added.
