Philippine Airlines wooing frequent flyers with status match offer

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is offering frequent flyers with status at selected airlines the opportunity to fast-track their way to elite status with its Mabuhay Miles program. Read More » Members of eligible frequent flyer programs may receive Elite or Premier Elite status with Mabuhay Miles for US$199 or US$349, respectively. "Members whose applications are approved between July 1 and December 31, 2026 will enjoy their matched status through February 2028," PAL said. The list of eligible airlines excludes members of oneworld airline frequent flyer programs, likely related to the announcement in June of PAL joining the alliance. The Philippines carrier was expected to formally become the 16th member of oneworld by the end of next year.
