Sun PhuQuoc Airways accepts its first Airbus A330

Vietnam’s Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) announced on September 23, 2026, that it took delivery of its first Airbus A330-200 with registration number VN-A969, opening a chapter of wide-body aircraft operations. Read More » The aircraft has 247 seats across three cabins: 20 business-class seats, 21 premium economy seats and 206 economy seats. All three cabins have personal entertainment screens and onboard Wi-Fi. It is the first of eight A330s the airline plans to receive between September and April 2027. The carrier said the A330s will allow it to enter key international markets including Australia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Europe.
