Airbus reports 72 deliveries for August

Airbus delivered 72 commercial aircraft to 37 customers in September, bringing to 547 the total number of aircraft handed over to customers through the first nine months of 2026. Read More » The September output represented an increase from the 57 deliveries in August, while total commercial aircraft deliveries were up from 507 over the same nine-month period in 2025. The airframer booked gross orders for 17 aircraft last month, made up of 15 A320neos from Air Cairo and two A321neos from Flyone Armenia. Airbus total gross orders in the year to September 30 stood at 1,174 aircraft. The number of cancellations rose by three in September to 69 aircraft, leaving net orders at September 30 sitting at 1,105 aircraft.
