Read More » The route is expected to become the shortest scheduled passenger service from Macau, connecting cities only 106km apart, with a road journey taking roughly two hours. Macau News Agency (MNA) notes that travelers can also take a high-speed train between Zhuhai, which borders Macau, and Guangzhou in about 45 to 80 minutes. Andy Wu Keng Kuong, chairman of the Travel Industry Council of Macau, told MNA that the flight is intended to serve as a feeder route, allowing passengers to connect through CSA’s Guangzhou hub to Beijing and destinations farther afield. Because the airplane arriving in Macau in the evening will stay overnight and depart in the morning, the new service via Guangzhou will let passengers travel from Macau to Beijing in the morning and return in the evening, offering more convenient times and additional options.
