Honeywell appoints Aerospace Asia Pacific chief

Honeywell has selected Steven Lien as president of Aerospace Asia Pacific. Lien succeeds Briand Greer, who will be staying in the Asia Pacific region and assuming a new leadership position within Honeywell. Read More »

As president of Honeywell Aerospace in Asia Pacific, Lien will oversee operations in six countries and extensive field operations across a network of 14 countries within the region. Lien will be based in Shanghai and report to Tim Mahoney, president and CEO of Honeywell Aerospace. Lien's previous role was vice president, China/Asia Pacific Growth.


Boeing selects president Japan

Boeing has named Brett Gerry as the new president of Boeing Japan, effective April 1. He will succeed George Maffeo who will retire from the manufacturer after nearly 40 years of service. Gerry will be based in Tokyo, reporting to Marc Allen, president of Boeing International.


Fernandes: Mittu Chandilya not quitting

AirAsia India CEO, Mittu Chandilya, is not quitting the airline, said AirAsia Group chief, Tony Fernandes, on Monday as he announced the two-year-old Indian LCC would "shortly" add two A320s as part of its fleet expansion. "I read about Mittu calling it quits. I absolutely deny it. There is no substance to the rumours," the Malaysian airline group chief told reporters.
