Airbus leads Boeing by $16.2 billion to $6.02 billion in orders for April

Read More » Airbus booked 85 commercial aircraft during the month, valued at approximately $16.2 billion: 20 A350-900s for China Eastern Airlines ($6.1 billion), 37 A321ceos for Delta Air Lines ($4.2 billion) and orders from undisclosed buyers for 13 A330-300s ($3.3 billion), seven A330-200s ($1.6 billion) and an A350-900 ($305 million).
Boeing recorded 34 commercial aircraft orders for the month, valued at approximately $6.02 billion at list prices: 15 B787-9s for China Eastern Airlines, a B777F for FedEx, and undisclosed orders for ten and eight B737-800s, respectively.
Overall for the year to date, Airbus has overtaken Boeing once again. The Toulouse-based manufacturer’s gross commercial aircraft order stands at 112 aircraft, valued at $22.2 billion, while Boeing's gross commercial aircraft order total is 150 aircraft, with a list price value of $20.2 billion.
