Bangkok Airways scraps re-fleeting plans

Bangkok Airways president, Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, told The Bangkok Post the carrier’s flights were “mostly within the range of one to one-and-a-half hours, so we won't be able to benefit from the fuel efficiency these modern aircraft have to offer".
In contrast, A320neo launch operator, Lufthansa, has been flying its first two neos between Frankfurt, Munich and Hamburg - 45-minute hops – and said it has achieved 16.5% fuel efficiency on the routes compared with the A320ceo.
