AirAsia eyes A321

The Malaysia-headquartered low-cost airline group has 170 A320s on its books. Its Malaysian offshoot has 80 aircraft, the Thai subsidiary 47, AirAsia Indonesia 23, AirAsia Philippines 14, while the Indian and nascent Japanese subsidiaries have six and two A320s, respectively. AirAsia Group has 304 A320neos on order from Airbus.
