AFI-KLM E&M has signed a long-term power-by-the-hour (PBH) contract with SunExpress Deutschland covering the CF6-80E1s powering the carrier’s A330 fleet. MTU Maintenance has signed a five-year agreement to service Garuda Indonesia’s CF34-8C5s on the airline’s 18 CRJ1000s.

Routes

Air China will launch a thrice-weekly Hangzhou-Surat Thani A320 route from July 5. Cambodia Angkor Air will terminate its thrice-weekly Phnom Penh-Incheon A321 service starting July 1. Emirates Airline will reduce frequency on the B777-300 Dubai-Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen route from daily to four-weekly commencing August 1. EVA Air will reduce frequency on the Taipei-Istanbul B777-300ER rotation from four- to thrice-weekly starting October 30. Jeju Air will add a daily Incheon-Phuket B737-800 service beginning September 7. Tibet Airlines will launch a thrice-weekly Chengdu-Koh Samui A319 service starting July 1. TransAsia Airways will terminate all services to Macau from October 30, including flights from Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung. T’Way Airlines will add a daily Daegu-Fukuoka B737-800 route starting September 1, as well as a daily Daegu-Narita B737-800 flight from the same date. United Airlines will reduce frequency on the B787-8 Osaka-San Francisco route from daily to five-weekly starting October 29.
