Air Busan will increase frequency on the Busan-Macau A320/A321 route from five- to eleven-weekly from March 26. Read More » China Airlines (CAL) will increase frequency on the Taipei-Penang B737-800 route from four- to five-weekly commencing May 14; at the same time it will reduce its Taipei-Guam B737-800 service from five- to four-weekly. Ethiopian Airlines is fast-forwarding its Chengdu launch; the new thrice-weekly B787-8 route will now launch on May 22 instead of June 6. Etihad Airways will replace the A330-200 with the B787-9 on the daily Abu Dhabi-Beijing-Nagoya triangular route from July 1 and it will replace the A340-600 with the B787-9 on the daily Abu Dhabi-Incheon flight from August 1. Indonesia AirAsia X will launch a four-weekly Denpasar-Narita A330-300 route on May 24. Juneyao Airlines will replace the A320 with the A321 on the daily Pudong-Chiang Mai route from March 26. Lufthansa will take the A380 off the Hong Kong-Frankfurt route from October 28 and replace it with the B747-8; from the same date it will roster the A380 daily to Bangkok, replacing a B747-400. Philippine Airlines (PAL) will add a twice-weekly seasonal A320 Manila-Jeju charter starting April 6. Spring Airlines will add a daily Hangzhou-Macau A320 rotation beginning April 16. SriLankan Airlines will replace the A320/A321 with the A330-300 on the daily Colombo-Dhaka route from April 7. Thai Lion Air has added an eight-weekly Don Mueang-Hanoi B737-800 flight and it will launch a daily Don Mueang-Nanjing -800 flight on March 26, a six-weekly Don Mueang-Phitsanulok B737-900ER rotation on March 27 and a four-weekly Don Mueang-Nanchang B737-900ER flight on April 1. Thai Smile has cancelled plans for a daily Suvarnabhumi-Cebu A320 route from May.
