Routes: Asiana Airlines will increase frequency on the Seoul-Rome B777-200ER route from five-weekly to daily from August 4 through to October 27, and it will replace the A380 with the B777-200ER from December 1 through to February 28 on the Frankfurt route, deploying it instead to Sydney during that period. Beijing Capital Airlines will launch a thrice-weekly Beijing-Lisbon A330-200 route on July 26. Cathay Pacific Airways will terminate its long-standing Hong Kong-Taipei-Fukuoka A330/B777 triangular route on October 29; Cathay Dragon will continue to operate daily Hong Kong-Fukuoka A330 nonstop flights. Cathay Dragon will axe its daily Hong Kong-Haneda A320 redeye route from October 29; Cathay Pacific will continue to serve Haneda twice daily. China Eastern Airlines will replace the B767-300ER with the A330-200 on the thrice-weekly Pudong-Xian-Moscow route commencing June 6. Cebu Pacific Air will replace the A320 with the A330-300 on one of its daily flights linking Manila with Bangkok and Seoul from June 1. Lufthansa plans to increase A340-600 frequency between Munich and Haneda from five-weekly to daily beginning October 27. Malindo Air has increased B737 frequency between Kuala Lumpur and Colombo from nine- to eleven-weekly, to Kathmandu from eleven-weekly to double daily and to Tiruchirappalli from 18- to 21-weekly. It will launch a daily Penang-Singapore B737-800 rotation on June 22. NokScoot will increase Don Mueang-Tianjin B777-200ER frequency from four- to five-weekly starting July 8 and Don Mueang-Shenyang from thrice- to four-weekly from July 13. United Airlines plans to replace the B747-400 with the B777-300ER on the San Francisco-Narita route beginning June 14. Initially set for a thrice-weekly launch on June 28, Xiamen Airlines now plans to serve the Xiamen-Los Angeles B787 route four times a week from July 19.
