SaudiGulf Airlines to order up to 16 Boeing wide bodies

Boeing this week said it was negotiating an order with Dammam-headquartered start-up carrier, SaudiGulf Airlines, for up to 16 B777 or B787 series aircraft. Read More » The announcement was made during U.S. president Donald Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia.

Founded in 2013, full-service SaudiGulf began flying last October. The carrier has a fleet of four A320ceo with 16 Bombardier CS300s plus 10 options on order. It flies to Jeddah, Riyadh and Agha from Dammam and plans to extend onto international routes to Southeast Asia and the U.S.
