Routes: Air China will convert its thrice-weekly Beijing-Xiamen-Jakarta B737-800 route into a nonstop Beijing-Jakarta A330-300 flight starting September 26. Read More » Air India will launch a twice-weekly Varanasi-Colombo A321 route from August 4 through to November 26 and it will add a thrice-weekly Delhi-Copenhagen B787-8 flight from September 16. Bangkok Airways will add a thrice-weekly Koh Samui-Chongqing A319 service on July 22. Batik Air will launch a daily Jakarta-KLIA A320 route on June 10, complementing the services of sister carriers Lion Air and Malindo Air. China Eastern Airlines will launch a twice-weekly Guangzhou-Cebu B737-800 route on June 28, followed by a daily Wuxi-Suvarnabhumi A320 flight operating from July 5 through to August 30. EVA Air will increase frequency on the Taipei-Fukuoka A330-300 route from daily to nine-weekly from June 10 through to August 30. Finnair will replace the A330-300 with the A350-900 on the Helsinki-Krabi and Helsinki-Phuket routes from October 29. Lucky Air will launch a twice-weekly Kunming-Brunei A320 route on July 8. Philippine Airlines (PAL) will reduce frequency on the Manila-Honolulu A330-300 route from five- to four-weekly from August 18 through to November 25. Tigerair Australia will launch a four-weekly Melbourne-Townsville A320 route on June 22. VietJet Air will add a second daily Hanoi-Incheon A321/A320 service starting August 2.
