Airbus to upgrade Qantas A380 cabins

The Qantas Group has signed a contract with Airbus to upgrade its 12 A380s in a project scheduled for completion in 2020. Read More » The upgrade will include a new business lounge area in the forward cabin of the upper deck and reconfiguration of the aircrafts’ cabins. The capacity of Qantas A380s after the upgrade will be 14 first class suites, 70 business class seats (+6), 60 premium economy (+25) and 341 economy (-30).

A380 fleets have flown 170 million passengers and are accepted at 240 airports worldwide. Every two minutes, an A380 takes off or lands, said Airbus.
