Boeing books 58 B737MAXs with an unidentified customer

On its orders and deliveries page, U.S. manufacturer Boeing has listed a new order for 58 B737 MAXs from an undisclosed airline customer. Read More »

The new commitment raised the OEM’s commercial net sales this year to 491 aircraft. Boeing hopes to sell 760-765 aircraft in 2017.Of the 491 orders, 358 went to the B737 programme. Boeing also has sold 78 B787s, 43 B777s and 15 B767s. This week, it delivered MAXs to SilkAir, FlyDubai and American Airlines. Rival Airbus reported on its website that it had received net orders for 215 jetliners to August 31.
