TRU secures two landmark deals

Read More » At the European Airline Training Symposium in Berlin, Qantas signed up for a B737NG Full Flight Simulator (FFS) for delivery to the Qantas Flight Training Center in Sydney in the second quarter of 2018.
“Once again, TRU has been recognized for its valuable, first-hand experience on the 737 platform gained previously through supplying high-fidelity and innovative flight simulation equipment to the aircraft OEM,” said George Karam, vice president and general manager of TRU’s Air Transport Simulation Division.
Also in Berlin, TRU sold two A320 FFSs to Airbus – one for the Airbus Asia Training Center in Singapore and another for the Hua-Ou Aviation Training Company in Beijing. The contracts include Airbus Procedures Trainer (APT) devices. As an approved supplier, TRU is eligible to supply its flight simulation devices to Airbus’ customers, training centres and affiliates worldwide.
“These agreements recognize TRU’s strength as a world-class supplier of innovative and advanced full flight simulators with the fidelity and reliability needed to maximize pilot throughput, wherever Airbus customers and affiliates train in the world,” Karam commented.
“We are excited to commence our relationship with Airbus by supporting training in the emerging aviation markets of Asia by providing world-class training solutions,” he added.
TRU offers a complete suite of commercial aviation training products and services, including Airbus A320, A330 and A350, the ATR 72-500/72-600, the Bombardier CRJ900 and Boeing 737NG, 737MAX, 757/767 and 777X FFS, Fixed Base Flight Training Devices (FTD) and FPT devices.
