Boeing delivers 50th MAX

Boeing is on track to fulfil its 2017 B737 MAX production and delivery targets. Read More » The U.S. manufacturer this week delivered the 50th B737 MAX 8. At the beginning of the year the OEM set a target of 52-78 MAX deliveries for 2017, representing 10-15% of annual B737 series deliveries.

In November, Boeing delivered 16 MAXs. The OEM will deliver a total of 67 MAXs through to the end of the year if it delivers the same number of MAXs in December. The 50 MAXs are in service with 14 carriers, including Air China, Hainan Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines and SilkAir.
