Before his new appointment, Balm was vice-president for sales at Air France KLM Benelux, managing corporate, SME, leisure and direct sales teams. Under his leadership, the division achieved EUR1.6 billion in revenues.
“I am delighted to have been granted this opportunity to take this position, given China is the second largest market for Air France KLM. I will be working hard to offer innovative products and services to Chinese passengers, enabling them to enjoy new flight experience with Air France KLM,” Balm said.
