Effective October 28, Air Italy will increase Malpensa-Delhi A330-200 service from five- to six-weekly, Malpensa-Bangkok from four- to five-weekly and the airline will launch a five-weekly Malpensa-Mumbai route, also with the A330-200. Bangkok Airways will launch a thrice-weekly Phuket-Yangon A319 route on November 17, as well as a four-weekly Bangkok-Can Ranh A319 service from January 25. Cathay Dragon will reduce Hong Kong-Taichung A320 service from twice daily to daily starting October 27. Indonesia AirAsia X will terminate its four-weekly Jakarta-Narita A330-300 route on September 30, a few short months after launching the service. Lucky Air will add a thrice-weekly Zhengzhou-Bangkok B737-800 rotation beginning October 30. Malaysia Airlines will replace the A330-300 with the A380 on the daily Kuala Lumpur-Incheon route from October 28 and it will also switch from the B737-800 to the A330-200 on the daily Kuala Lumpur-Taipei rotation from the same date. Malindo Air will launch a twice-weekly Penang-Nanning B737-800 service on August 18. Nepal Airlines this week replaced the A320 with the A330-200 on its Kathmandu-Bangkok and Kathmandu-Hong Kong routes, both served three times a week. NokScoot will reduce Don Mueang-Taipei B777-200ER service from daily to five-weekly beginning October 28. Qatar Airways will launch a third daily Doha-Male A350-900 service from October 28. Sichuan Airlines will add a four-weekly Chongqing-Sihanoukville A321 rotation from August 27. Thai Smile has launched a weekly Phuket-Lanzhou A320 scheduled charter route.
