Leasing: BOC Aviation has purchased eight new A330neo family aircraft from Airbus for lease to the Lion Air Group with deliveries scheduled from 2019-2020. Read More » The Indonesian airline group will have the option to acquire four of the aircraft at delivery.

Routes: Aeroflot will launch five-weekly Moscow-Colombo A330-300 flights from October 28. AirAsia will add a daily Kuala Lumpur-Kuantan A320 service on October 28, followed by four-weekly Kota Kinabalu-Macau A320 flights from November 2. Cambodia Airways will launch twice-weekly Siem Reap-Taipei A319 flights on October 12. China Southern Airlines will add a six-weekly Shenzhen-Kota Kinabalu B737-800 route beginning September 28. Drukair plans to launch twice-weekly Paro-Pakyong ATR42 flights from January 1. IndiGo Airlines will launch a daily Thiruvananthapuram-Doha A320 route on October 1. KC International plans to launch four-weekly Macau-Da Nang A320 flights from August 31, followed by thrice-weekly Macau-Cam Ranh A320 operations from September 2. Korean Air will replace B737 with the A220-300 on the daily Busan-Nagoya service from November 5; on the twice-daily Busan-Narita route from December 5; and on the Busan-Fukuoka and Busan-Sapporo routes from January 5, respectively. Philippine Airlines has reduced Cebu-Bangkok A321 flights from daily to five-weekly. Uzbekistan Airways will launch twice-weekly Tashkent-Mumbai A320 flights from October 30. VietJet Air will start daily Hanoi-Narita A321 flights on January 11. Xiamen Air has started five-weekly Fuzhou-Hong Kong B737-800 flights.
