Singapore Airlines appoints David Gledhill to board

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced the appointment of David Gledhill to the airline’s board as an independent non-executive director from September 1. Read More » He will succeed Dr Helmut Panke, who has been an independent non-executive board director since 2009.
Gledhill is group chief information officer, as well as head of group technology and operations at DBS Bank, which he joined in 2008 after 20 years with JP Morgan. He has held senior regional positions in technology and operations in Singapore, Tokyo and London.
Gledhill also is a director of Singapore Clearing House Pte Ltd, a member of the IBM Advisory Board and Singapore’s National Super Computing Centre Steering Committee. He is also a board member of National University of Singapore’s Institute of Systems Science and board advisor to Singapore Management University School of Information Systems.
