Routes: Aeroflot will launch thrice-weekly Sheremetyevo-Denpasar B777-300ER flights from October 28, operated by Rossiya aircraft. British Airways will resume daily Doha-Heathrow B787-9 operations from December 1. Cathay Dragon will launch twice-weekly seasonal Hong Kong-Tokushima A320 flights, operating from December 19 through March 30. Cathay Pacific Airways will replace the B777-300ER with the A350-1000 on its daily Hong Kong-Amsterdam route from December 31. Emirates Airline will terminate its four-weekly Dubai-Multan B777-300 service from October 26 and will add a second daily Dubai-Stockholm B777-300ER rotation beginning December 1. Garuda Indonesia will increase Denpasar-Incheon A330-300 service from six-weekly to daily from October 31. Guangxi Beibu Gulf Airlines plans to launch daily Nanning-Singapore A320 flights on March 29. Jeju Air will launch a daily Narita-Guam B737-800 service from October 28. Lufthansa will resume six-weekly Frankfurt-Pune flights from October 28, operated by Privatair B737-700 aircraft. Malindo Air will launch a daily Kota Kinabalu-Kuching B737-800 route on October 28. Qatar Airways has announced it will commence services to tourism hub, Da Nang, in central Vietnam. Shenzhen Airlines will add a daily Shenzhen-Jakarta B737-800 route on September 27. SpiceJet will launch a daily Hyderabad-Bangkok B737-800 route on October 10. Spring Airlines will increase Tianjin-Narita B737-800 operations from thrice-weekly to daily starting September 11. THAI will terminate its daily Hong Kong-Incheon B777 route from October 27; the airline will continue to serve Hong Kong five times a day and increase Bangkok-Incheon nonstop service from 18- to 25-weekly. Thai Lion Air will add a daily Don Mueang-Dhaka B737-800 rotation from October 1.

Training: HAITE Aviation Training Singapore, a subsidiary of Sichuan HAITE High-Tech Co. Ltd in Chengdu, has inaugurated a 21,000 square metre international headquarters office complex and training Centre in Singapore’s Changi Business Park. Training equipment at the facility includes an Airbus A320 series 7000 full flight simulator, an A320 Integrated Procedure Trainer and Boeing B737-800W series 7000 full flight simulator.
