MRO: China Aviation Supplies and Lufthansa Technik will provide joint component maintenance for Air China’s A350 fleet. MTU Maintenance has won a five-year, EUR245 million (US$285 million) contract from Asiana Airlines to provide IAE V2500 engine maintenance on the airline’s A320 fleet.

Routes: Air Busan will add a daily Busan-Hanoi A320 service starting October 28. Air China will debut its A350-900 on the daily Beijing-Milan route from October 15. Cathay Pacific Airways will increase Hong Kong-Frankfurt from daily to ten times a week starting March 31. Cebu Pacific will start four times a week Cebu-Macau A320 flights on December 7. Emirates Airline will cancel its three times a week Dubai-Yinchuan-Zhengzhou B777-200LR route from November 15. Hebei Airlines will start daily Guilin-Bangkok B737-800 flights on October 28. Hong Kong Airlines will terminate its thrice-weekly Hong Kong-Phnom Penh A320 service on October 28. IndiGo Airlines will launch daily Bangalore-Kuala Lumpur A320 flights and daily Delhi-Kuala Lumpur A320 flights from November 15, respectively. Japan Airlines will add a daily Haneda-Manila B737-800 route beginning February 1. Jeju Air will start four-weekly Busan-Yantai B737-800 flights from October 29. Jetstar Japan will launch daily Osaka-Kochi A320 flights and daily Narita-Kochi A320 flights from December 19, respectively. Korean Air will replace the A330-300 with the B787-9 on the five-weekly Incheon-Brisbane route beginning October 28. Kunming Airlines will start a daily Kunming-Bangkok B737-800 service on October 28. Loong Air has started twice-weekly Xian-Jeju A320 flights. SpiceJet will launch a daily Delhi-Hong Kong B737 MAX 8 service on November 22. Ural Airlines will add a twice-weekly Vladivostok-Sapporo A320 route starting December 4. VietJet Air will launch daily Phu Quoc-Incheon A320 flights commencing December 22. Vietnam Airlines will increase Da Nang-Narita A321 service from five-weekly to daily starting January 1.
