Bombardier names chief transformation officer

Bombardier has appointed Sam Abdelmalek as chief transformation and supply chain officer, effective from October 3. Read More » Abdelmalek will report directly to Bombardier Inc. president and CEO, Alain Bellemare. “He will have direct responsibility for the continued transformation of the company’s operations and lead the company’s supply chain activities to reduce costs and improve efficiency and quality to support Bombardier’s growth objectives,” a company statement said.
Most recently, Abdelmalek was vice president global supply chain at Pratt & Whitney. He has 30 years of aerospace and industrial experience.
