NATS appoints Ben Kiff as Asia-Pacific director

NATS, the UK air traffic services provider, this week announced that its director for the Middle East, Ben Kiff, has been promoted to director for both the Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Read More » NATS said the appointment would “support and shape” the firm’s “strategic intentions in both regions”.

Kiff is a NATS veteran. Over the past 17 years, he has held several leadership positions within NATS, including air traffic control operations and business development, as well as international training. Most recently, Kiff has successfully established offices in the UAE and Oman. NATS said he was responsible for moving towards a local partnership-led approach to the company’s business in the region.

“Ben has very relevant and significant experience and is the right person to lead our business in these important markets. This is a period of enormous growth and we believe that with our expertise and long experience there is much we can offer to help the safe development of infrastructure in both regions,” said NATS CEO, Martin Rolfe.

NATS supports airports, airlines and governments through projects in some of the world’s busiest airspaces. The company has a history of working with governments, militaries, airport operators and airlines in countries across the world, including Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, the Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, India, Japan, the UAE, Oman and Kuwait.
