Fuzhou Airlines accepts first B737 MAX 8

Fuzhou Airlines, a HNA Group affiliate, has added its first B737 MAX to its fleet bringing its Boeing aircraft to 17. Read More » Fuzhou Airlines is flying the MAX from Fuzhou to Chongqing, Kunming, Xian, Tianjin and Harbin. It is configured with eight seats in domestic first class and 168 in economy.

Fuzhou Airlines, launched in 2014, is majority owned by HNA Group’s Hainan Airlines. Fuzhou state-owned Investment Holdings Co., Century Golden Resources Group and Ningbo Ruitong Network Technology Co are minority shareholders. The carrier operates 16 B737-800s as well as the new MAX 8. Fuzhou Airlines aims to be flying 40 aircraft by 2020.
