CODE SHARES: Indian full service carrier, Vistara, and United Airlines (UA) have agreed to a code share agreement that will expand the relationship between the two airlines that will open 20 destinations across India to the American carrier. Read More »

ROUTES: Cebu Pacific will launch four times a week flights between Shenzhen and Manila on July 2 expanding its network to 27 international destinations including five in China. Hainan Airlines the frequency of its Beijing-Tijuana-Mexico City route from three times a week to two. Jeju Air will add Busan-Singapore four times a week with B737-800s from July 4 and will expand from Jeju and Muan services to Fukuoka from July 2 and 14, respectively. Juneyao Airlines will add Vladivostok from both Nanjing and Shanghai Pudong at twice a week by month-end. Malindo Air will terminate Kualum Lumpur-taipeir-Sapporo on July 31. Thai Airways International will commence three times a week Bangkok-Sendai services on October 29, its sixth destination in Japan. Philippines AirAsia will expand Cebu-Davao from 11 to 14 flights a week from August 1. Korean LCC, T’Way Air has been operating daily between Seoul and Phuket from this week. Vietnam Airlines will add twice a week Da Nang-Busan to its network from July 20. Following postponement in April, Xiamen Airlines is flying twice a week from its home base to Mandalay. Sichuan Airlines also is offering Mandalay flights, from Hangzhou once a week. the Xiamen full-service carrier will expand its network in the Philippines with Chengdu-Cebu three times a week from June 27.
