LEASING: Singapore headquartered BOC Aviation Limited has delivered the first A330-900neo to Lion Air. Read More » It is the first of the new A330neo family scheduled for delivery to the Indonesian airline group. The aircraft is powered by Rolls Royce Trent 700 engines.

GDS: Cathay Pacific Airways has announced it will implement Amadeus Altea NDC (New Distribution Capability), a full offer and order management solution based on end-to-end NDC shopping, booking and servicing flows. 

ROUTES: Cebu Pacific will discontinue Manila-Guam on December 10. China Southern Airlines will increase Gaungzhou-Brisbane to 10 a week from December 14. IndiGo will expand its international network to daily Mumbai to Bangkok and Singapore on August 22. Indonesia AirAsia will add Bali Denpasar to Labuan Bajo (daily), Lombok and Majalengka (daily) from August 1, Lombok to Jakarta (11 a week) and Yogyakarta (three times a week) and Surabaya-Majalengka three times a week. Jeju Air has included daily Jeju-Bangkok flights in its network from July 19. Qantas Airways has opened bookings for Brisbane to Chicago O’Hare and San Francisco with services planned for the first half of 2020, subject to government approval. Singapore Airlines will increase its Singapore-Melbourne-Wellington route to five a week from January 1, 2020.  Vietnam Airlines will launch Van Don-Kunming (three a week) from September 26. Sichuan Airlines will discontinue Chengdu-Zurich from August 24. Spring Airlines will begin flying daily Nanjing-Jeju from August 14. Tianjin Airlines will resume twice weekly flights between Zhengzhou and Sydney on October 28.
