All Nippon Airways to receive more Haneda slots than Japan Airlines

A tentative allocation of new daytime international Haneda slots will see All Nippon Airways (ANA) allocated 13.5 daily slots while Japan Airlines (JAL) will receive 11.5, according to Nikkei. The half slots would likely translate to flights that will be offered only some days of the week.
If finalised, the allocation would continue a preference for ANA. In a 2013 international Haneda slot allocation, JAL received only five and ANA 11. JAL had hoped this allocation would be an equal disbursement. Nikkei said markets would include the U.S., China, Australia, Russia, Turkey and others.
For markets where multiple slots are allocated, ANA and JAL will receive an equal number of slots. For example, they will each receive the same number of slots for U.S. flights. But if Turkey only receives one allocation on the Japanese side, it would go to just one airline. In the 2013 allocation, ANA received two slots for Germany. JAL received none and did not receive slots to any market that ANA did not.
