Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation appoints new president

On April 1, Mitsubishi Heavy Engineering president and CEO, Takaoki Niwa, will succeed Hisakazu Mizutani as president of Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation. Read More » Mizutani will become chairman of the aircraft manufacturing group where he will lead the company’s “deep relations with All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines”, a February 6 statement said.
Bloomberg reported this week the manufacturer of the SpaceJet family has delayed its debut of the jet for the sixth time. Deliveries to launch customer, All Nippon Airways, will be delayed until the fiscal year ending March 2022. The project is estimated to be costing investors US$4.5 billion.
