Former Virgin Australia CEO takes up new directorship

Brisbane Airport Corporation said Borghetti, who led Virgin Australia for nine years before retiring last March, was appointed to the board by shareholder, IFM Investors.
“For many years Brisbane Airport has been at the forefront of airport development and innovation in Australia. With the opening of the eagerly awaited new runway in July this year the opportunities for Brisbane Airport are immeasurable. I look forward to working with the rest of the board to support management in delivering on that enormous promise,” Borghetti said in a statement.
