Qantas to wet lease Embraer 190s from Alliance Air

Qantas Group and Australian regional carrier, Alliance Aviation Services, announced a three-year wet lease agreement today. Read More » As part of the deal, Alliance will operate three Embraer E190 aircraft configured with 94 seats (10 premium and 84 economy) on regional services for Qantas from June. Qantas said the 737-800s it is flying on the routes would be redeployed elsewhere in its network. The agreement included access to a maximum of 14 of Alliance's E190 jets. Qantas owns 19.9% of Alliance.
