Mainland demand declines by 40.4% in January

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) said yesterday there were 30.18 million passengers on domestic and international routes in January 2021, down 40.4% from 50.6 million in the prior corresponding period. Cargo and mail traffic on international routes was up year-on-year for a third consecutive month in January at 24.7%.
