AirAsia Group prices first tranche of share placement

AirAsia Group said in a regulatory filing to Kuala Lumpur's Bursa Malaysia yesterday the price for the first tranche of its capital raising through the issuing of shares in a private placement would be 0.675 ringgit (US$0.17) per placement share, which represented a 9.82% discount to the five-day volume-weighted average (VWAP) price to February 9. "The actual number of placement shares to be placed out under the first tranche will depend on final acceptance by the identified placees," AirAsia Group said.
