Bangkok Airways closes lounges and suspends catering as COVID-19 cases spike across Thailand

Bangkok Airways has suspended inflight meals and closed all passenger lounges in new measures put in place following an increase in COVID-19 cases in Thailand. Read More » "The company’s precautionary and prevention plans are in accordance with the standards and guidance of national authorities such as the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health and the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand," Bangkok Airways said. Other containment measures included social distancing at airport terminals serviced by the regional carrier, limiting the capacity of transfer buses to 70% and increasing frequency of general cleaning in high traffic areas.
