Japan Airlines international passengers decline 81.8% year-on-year

Japan Airlines (JAL) flew 1.2 million passengers on its domestic network in March, an 85.7% improvement from 632,551 in February. Read More » However, the March figure was down 10.9% year-on-year, from 1.3 million in the same month a year ago. Domestic passenger load factor was 63.7% in March 2021, compared with 40% in February and 38.3% in March 2020.
The JAL monthly traffic report also reported its international network carried 40,662 passengers in March, down 81.8% year-on-year.
