Mainland flag carrier, Air China, and Air New Zealand to continue strategic partnership

Air China and Air New Zealand (Air NZ) have extended their partnership for another five years, the New Zealand carrier's CEO, Greg Foran, announced today. Read More » "The renewal of our strategic cooperation with Air China will be a vital boost to our tourism industry as it recovers from the severe impact of COVID-19," Foran told a conference in Auckland. "Our alliance with Air China has delivered, and will continue to deliver, real benefit to New Zealand." Before the pandemic outbreak, Air China flew nonstop Auckland-Beijing and Air NZ served Auckland-Shanghai Pudong. Both carriers operate code-shares on Mainland China and New Zealand domestic routes.
