Vietnam Airlines Group discloses US$216 million after tax loss

Vietnam Airlines Group late last week announced an after-tax loss of 4.975 trillion dong (US$216 million) for the three months to March 31, 2021, down 90% from an after-tax loss of 2.6 trillion dong 12 months earlier. The majority government-owned airline group of flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, LCC Pacific Airlines and Vietnam Air Services Company (VASC), said revenue collapsed 60%, to 7.5 trillion dong, in the reported period.
