Philippines regulator increases daily passenger cap to 2,000 at Manila International Airport

Philippines' Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) has increased the international passenger cap at Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to 2,000 passengers, up from 1,500 passengers previously. Read More » The 1,500-passenger cap was introduced on March 20 as the country battled an increase in COVID-19 cases. Although the number of travellers arriving at the capital city airport has been increased, the Philippines is retaining its ban on passenger arrivals from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
